John Weaver, President and Chief Executive Officer

John Weaver has been involved in housing development and management since 2000. John works with the VRS board of directors to identity housing needs in the Mat-Su region and develops a plan to implement the vision.

John serves on the Mat-Su Coalition on Housing and Homelessness, Board President of the Wasilla Area Seniors, Inc., Board President  for the Mat-Su Family Promise, past Board of Directors for the Boy Scouts of America,  Alaska State Homeless Coalition and is an Elder and Trustee at the First Presbyterian Church. Mr. Weaver had a 24 year career as an executive with the Pay’n Save Corporation, a billion dollar retail organization based in Seattle, Washington. John graduated from the University of Puget Sound, with a Bachelor of Arts in business Administration.
