The Alaska Coalition on Housing and Homelessness will host their annual statewide conference this September 29th thru October 1st at the Westmark Baranof in Juneau. This year’s event will feature three plenary speakers: Sam Tsemberis, the executive director of Pathways to Housing, Inc. of NYC, Bill Hobson exectutive director of the Downtown Emergency Service Center in Seattle, and Josh Arviels the director of the Alaska Child Trauma at Anchorage Community Mental Health Services. There will be several tours of related interest available and twenty-five plus work sessions in the program. Also, KTOO/360 North, as part of its yearlong project covering housing and homelessness issues will televise and livestream portions of the conference.
