VRS and WASI Community Health Fair

Valley Residential Services and the Wasilla Area Seniors, Inc. have partnered up to co-host the annual Community Health Fair on Saturday, March 12th at the WASI Community Center. This event will start at 8 AM and will continue until 12 Noon. Featured will be  the AK Health Fair, Inc. group who will provide various health educational booths and exhibits and basic screenings such as blood pressure, vision, height/weight, etc. along with low-cost blood panels and tests for such things as A1C, Vitamin D, Thyroid and Prostate screening. Financial support provided by the Mat-Su Health Foundation was key to the success of providing this event to the community.
